Pennsylvania woman discovers unique way to clean eyeglasses

Cleaning one's eyeglasses can be one of the most important aspects of maintaining frames, as dirty lenses can reduce their effectiveness. According to The Morning Call, Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania, resident Irene Zalutsky has developed her own concoction that effectively cleans her glasses.

"Use vinegar and water to clean eyeglasses, [but] not contacts," Zalutsky told the news source. "If you have a spray bottle left over, just fill it with half water and half vinegar."

While eyeglasses cleaning kits are readily available, Zalutsky suggests that her mixture works just as well for a fraction of the cost. The news provider estimates that it can save consumers as much as $70 over a decade. She also added that white vinegar is the only kind one should use, as apple cider vinegar will not be as effective.

Along with keeping lenses clean, AllAboutVision.com reports that that choosing the correct frames can be important as well. For example, traditional oval, rectangle, and almond-shaped frames that are gold and silver are fantastic choices for businessmen and women, as they can project trust and confidence on clients.
